Hello all, I wonder if anyone try to make decos, cave, pools, or just any things out of air dry clay for their crabitat?
I saw air dry clays are sold in many places such as michaels and hobby lobby. It would be loads of fun making thing out of clay IMO. Like you can choose your own shapes and sizes, etc
I wonder if the clay is going to be a toxic hazard. Also will the clay last in such moist and warm environment?

The humidity would ruin it. It would have to be sealed with a crah safe varnish or resin.

I found a recipe online for homemade, baking clay. I’m going to try it with marine salt...even if it’s ruined in a couple of months, it’s cheap to make, and it would be fun to build with.

Just keep in mind if it's a recipe with flour, it will mold in the humidity of the tank and the crabs will try to eat it!

Hmmmmmm... I wonder if I could make clay items from the clay dirt around my area? My mom has land in forest reserve, so should be safe to use as far as pesticides...and baking should kill bugs...
