What type of sand should I use and or is recommended to mix with coconut fiber?

Playsand. I think it is silicone based. I use one from Lowe’s but I think it is at Home Depot too.
I have had pets in the past, but my family can’t have any furry or feathered ones due to allergies. I usually try my best to help and currently trying to set up a crabitat. I also try to treat others with Love!❤️

I think coconut fiber helps keep it moist. Most people I think use more sand than ee.

Yep, most sands tend to be silicone based (silica - Silicone Dioxide, SiCO2) but you can get quartz based sands, which is commonly used in aquariums (and coral sand, which is calcium carbonate based....)Oliviet#1 wrote:Playsand. Wanna add my vote to silica play and mixed with coconut fiber. I used saltwater to mix it all up and provide a base layer of moisture.
