So im having a problem keeping it wark in my crab tank. It doesnt matter what size my pools of water are its always more humid and too much moisture that the heat isnt staying. I have two tank heaters attached to the side and my crabs are always huddled around them because i cant get the rest of the tank to stay warm. Any ideas??

What kind of UTH are you using? Where is it located and how big is it? What kind of lid do you have?

Also to add to Xeno's questions.
How large is your tank?
Where are your hygrometer and thermometer, and what are the readings?

So my tank is a 20 gal with a glass folding lid
Im using two of the flat heaters you get from the pet stroe that stick straight onto the glass.
My readings on the gauges are 80 % humidity and 70% heat but the heat struggles to stay at that temp even
Like having
I am planning to change the sand to completly new dry sand to mane sure the moisture that keeps collecting faster than it can dry, is low to see if it improves the tank
But

I'm curious as to how big of the flat heaters you have on there? A flat heater (also known as a UTH here, or under tank heater) does best when its above the substrate line on the entire back wall. Insulating the sides can help, and if the UTH is a brand that can be insulated, putting insulation over the heater can help redirect some heat back into the tank.
Insulation is done by using those car reflective shields cut to size, or styrofoam, cardboard wrapped with tinfoil to name a few. There's a couple ways to insulate, but these are by far the most common.

The sand needs to be sandcastle consistancy otherwise it won't hold their tunnels and caves. The heaters should cover the entire back of the tank from the top of the sunstrate to the top of the tank. You can also insulate the rest of the tank by covering cardboard with tin foil, shiny side out, and taping it to the other sides of the tank and even the top. Just don't cover your heaters because it will be a fire hazard. Is your temp/hygro gauge analog or digital? The analog ones aren't accurate.
