Im researching if its possible to use a human heating pad on a glass tank. Any ideas?

not long term, I believe. Mainly because it can be a fire hazard if left on for long periods of time. Not to mention, they can't be insulated or anything for the same reason. But they can work short term i think. Just keep an eye on it.

100% agree with above. They not meant to be used 24/7 and as such, can be a fire risk. Even though it may be a little more expensive to purchase a UTH, they designed to run all the time and provide constant heat.
