How much sand and eco

Post by CrabbyChelle628 » Sat Jul 04, 2020 10:37 am

So i am upgrading my 29 gallon long to a 55-gallon, and I'm wondering how much Eco Earth and how many 50-lb bags of playsand I need to put for the proper substrate. As I want to leave the substrate that I already have in my 29 gallon, so I can move my crabs out when they come up. My largest crab is probably an XL. he and one other aare the only 2 nightly right now.

Generally about a bag of playsand and a brick of EE per ten gal will give you about six inches, so you’re looking at between at least five and six of each.
