Lighting?

Hi there! My tank is in my bedroom which doesn't have a lot of light, so I'm wondering what are some good tank lighting ideas? The inside of the tank can get pretty dark, especially at night, and I'm trying to find something to get the tank more visible. In case you're wondering, I have a 16gal(approx) tote.
Thank you!

Hi!
I've been fish keeping for a while, so I had strip lights to my 20 and 55 gal aquariums already. That's what I use for light. You can buy them separately from the aquarium hoods, so you don't have to get a set. The strip lights also give off a little heat (just like a normal incandescent bulb in a lamp would).

You're welcome!
In the past, I've also used a clip on desk lamp, and clipped the light into the shelf the tank was on. It has 3 light settings with dimmer and a 3/6/12 hour timer. This is similar to what I have:

This care sheet has everything you will ever need to know about lighting - and then some.
