Moss/condensation

Post by Arkos » Sun Mar 28, 2021 12:43 pm

Hi all, finally finished my 40b tank. So I've got quite a bit of condensation, is this a concern with flooding over time or not really? Also, I've got a moss pit on the bottom floor, the shell shop on the top floor has moss lining the bottom, and the second story has moss partially covering it, all sphagnum, and the bridge you see is also moss covered. Having all that moss isn't a bad thing right? Image

i don’t think it should be a problem unless it continues. if it seems to be an everyday problem, try making a few small holes in the top or leaving a small gap. so not all the humidity escapes but enough to keep it from being to much. over time i do believe the condensation falling into the sand could be an issue however i am not an expert

Okay, I will poke a few holes in the little crack I have plastic wrapped. It's present pretty much all day every day for the last couple weeks now.
