Can't find play sand!

I've run into a problem with sand in my area. It's all gray and has rocks in it. I tried Sakrete and Quikrete play sand, but it was the same. Even other brands like Pavestone are gray and dusty. Even when I baked and rinsed it, it was still gray when dry or wet. Should I use it and just take out the rocks and rinse it? Should I use 100% eco earth instead? My crabs are medium in size and my tank is too small for them so I have to move them.

Where do you live?
Is this the kind of play sand you have tried?

I have bought and used this exact sand. Sometimes there are small pebbles, but nothing big. Do you have a photo of the 'rocks' in the stuff you bought?

Yeah, that's the first one I bought. It was gray though and I even got a second bag at Lowe's, but it was also gray. I live in Oregon, but I've seen tan sand like usual so idk why it's all gray or if it's safe.

Sand is mined from the ground and its color will vary based on its source location. I’ve seen it in all colors from yellow to brown to gray to white. So far no one’s reported issues with any.

That is normal playsand for the PNW! Grey west of the Rockies, there just aren't a ton of crabbers out that way anymore to talk about it.
