Hi - My little guy has continued to recover, and began to surface regularly and follow his old feeding routine around about mid-May. He is still in his iso tank (12×6×8) and starting to turn over his water and food dishes every night. Aside from one time where I accidentally picked him up when I was cleaning his extra shells and did not realize he was out and about, I have not handled him. His color is good, molt appears to have been successful despite the trauma and he shows lots of daily activity. What signs should I watch for to return him to the main tank? I'm afraid to wait too long/return him before he is ready...

That's great! Be sure to dip him in the freshwater of the main tank :)

Thank you for the advice. He has had his dip in the fw pool and is settling back into the main tank now. Everyone has plenty of shells, food and water in a couple extra places to help ease the transition.

Appreciate the group emergency hotline saving the day for my little guy!
