Lost both pinchers and leg

My hermit crab has been inactive since I bought him. Won't come out of its shell for me to interact with. He molted about 2 weeks ago and has now lost his pinchers and a leg since yesterday. What should I do?

Sounds a lot like PPS. The best thing you can do for him is to give him plenty of humidity and tempature, as well as healing foods like PB and honey. If he does pull through, he will regenerate his pincher and leg.

What did you see when he molted? Do you have a recent photo of him?

It was the same as my other one that is doing great. The exo of all the limbs. Pincher,legs and body. My other crab lost his pincher but he's very active and has always cone out to say hi

I use coconut fiber. I use a tank heater and can't get the temp to stay above 70. What it come down to is I don't think they are the right pet for me. I'm giving them to a rescue.
