Spongebob

Post by NLindsey921 » Thu May 12, 2016 7:25 pm

Got a new crab today and named him spongebob. I put him in the tank and then went about my business. Came back and he had already switched shells. :D I was checking him out however and I noticed that instead of being black, his eyes are red. Is that cause for concern or completely normal.

Sounds fine, my PP's eyes range in color from deep black to a rusty orange.

Yeah. I figured it was a normal occurrence. I had just never seen it before. Most of my crabs' eyes are black.

Spongebob has dug under. I assume he is either molting or destressing because he does not come up at night.

Smooth out the sand and wait to see if there are tracks!

Too many crabs for that. It wouldn't be an accurate test.

Oh ok! I misread and thought that Spongebob was your only crab!
