Hello, everyone! For the last week or so, I've been looking about on the forums and things for a bit of help in setting up my lonely little hermit crab in his 10-gallon tank (last PP in a beachwear store, I felt bad, you know the story). I've had lots in the past and ended up having to take a break from crabbing when life got crazy. However, I figure now is the time to get back into it because they're such fascinating little critters and I've always enjoyed caring for them. (I think I have more fun with the tank decorations than my little crab does.) So, here I am, introducing myself to the community. And, while I'm at it, I'd like to say thank you for the wealth of information available to novice and veteran crabbers here on the forums. I'm not sure if I would have managed to remember what is good and what is not, as far as hermies go.
(Pictures soon. Tiny crab likes to spend his time burrowing, and that's okay. I'll get him to say hello sometime.)

Welcome! Don't worry about not understanding everything, its normal!
Eventually you get use to it all and probably by that stage you'll be looking for an upgrade. One thing about HCA is that we love piccies of everyones hermit crabs... Its pretty much mandated by me!
Hope you like it here!

Welcome!! I can understand what you mean about the tank decorations. Confession: I'm afflicted! Lol! But that's ok because for the most part I just look around and think "hmmmm, im pretty sure I can make something with this for the hermies!"
When ur hermie is up for the photo op, definitely post them please!! And also pics of the tank:):) No better inspiration than to see how others have set up their tanks
