Mine walk around, climb around, sit in it. Saltwater is imperative for Straws. They live usually hang out in tide pools in the wild, so think of it that way. Don't forget to get yourself a UVB bulb too :)

Edit: I switched to Instant Ocean Reef Salt about 5 months ago due to it having more calcium. My e's and my straws seem to like it a lot more.

GB I don't think I've ever seen your strawberries!!!!!!!
I'd love to see them if you could. How do you suggest setting up the uvb?

I don't post a lot of pictures of my crabbies. I have an entire room for my crab babies. I prop my hoods up, lean the uvb bulb and use press n seal around it. I only have a few diurnal crabs and they don't go near it. A lot of time I sit in the room. It's not ideal, but it works for me ;)
