I then have to assume this is another type of heater modified for the tank? If i can get the model and maybe order online I would greatly appreciate it.
I found a group of them that should accommodate a 40 gallon tank. Looking to get the temp up to 85 degrees consistently.

Just wanted to say thank you to all who helped out. I bought an Ultratherm from bean Farm and taped it onto the back of my tank. It's 11X23 so covers most of the back of the 40 gallon. Temps have increases to 80 - 85 and humidity still around 95% BUT I now have a challenge. Since the heat dries out the back dirt, definitely need to keep up the misting and if i do not do that, my humidity now drops to 80 - 85% which for me is scary because our humidity never dipped below 95 ever.

I have noticed a difference in crab behavior as they seem to be more energetic, more characteristic and even taking larger strides, kore aggressive strides than ever! it's like having completely different crabs and the substrate is near perfect, nice and moist like wet sand without over doing it. Crab colors look a lot healthier and consistent also and the molting process is a lot easier as we now seen a few crabs coming out colorized.

Once i can get consistent water cleaners and know the dosages, i think the tank will be near automatic and i can start to grow my crab knowledge in other areas. Just want to say thank you to all.

Because of reading all your inputs, I have created a list of high standards...many of these are being done but there are a good handful I aspire to with some of those being immediate but I am happier and one day am looking to grow a colony of 100+ hermits primarily of PPs but also of Blue Berries, E's and several others.

Don't worry all, I will definitely have space. (-: Already eying prices on 200 gallon tanks and one day want to raid at least 2 pet stores and liberate literally all the hermits under their care! (-:
