I have been lurking the forum for a few months now, and I finally have my tank set up and I got my first hermits

My first two are very small PPs. I got them near the end of August, and they have both successfully molted already!
Then about two weeks ago, I went to Pet Supplies Plus and they were moving their hermit crabs to a different tank. I talked to the employees, and they admitted that they didn't really know anything about hermit crabs. I taught them how to tell PPs and Es apart, since they had both species, and told them the basics about temperature and humidity, since they had a 'desert style' tank set up for them that wasn't really appropriate.
They thought it was so cool that I really cared about hermit crabs that they gave me two medium PPs for free!
Right now I have a 20 gallon tank (I think it's a 20 long, but I'm not sure, I got it used) with 6 1/2 inches of sand castle consistency sand/cocofiber mix. They have shower caddy moss pit and shell shop second levels, hemp nets I crocheted them, and some miscellaneous hides and fake plants. I will post some pictures of my tank and the crabs as soon as I start a photobucket account and figure out how to post from it.
Both of my mediums are down to molt already, and I'm working on setting up a 55 gallon tank (got it for free!) because when I got those guys home I realized they were quite a bit bigger than I thought they were when I picked them out
