Starting back up my crabbing obsession!

Hello!
My name is Kaleigh.
I have been crabbing around 10 years and 4 of those years have only been crabbing as you may say "correctly." My crabbing started when I was about 10 years old. My family and I went to Rhode Island every year for a family vacation. We have six children in the family and as soon as we were all unpacked we ventured out to the Purple Ape store where we all got a hermit crab of our own to play with throughout our vacation. The hermit crabs were the high light of our vacation and for small children of course we didn't know how to properly care for them so they would all last about a week. I was the oldest and started doing research and was able to keep my hermit crabs alive for several years. We all came to an agreement that everyone could get a hermit crab and at the end of the week it would stay with me and in my tank. The hermit crabs became a tradition every year and on Wednesdays we would bring them back to the Purple Ape where they held hermit crab races. Sounds cheesy but the event every week was actually huge and the crowds are very large and loud!!!
My crabbing hobby came to a halt when I started attending college and left my hermit crabs home for my mom and sister to watch over while I was away. Needless to say they "forgot" them and they died.
Now that I am not in school I have taken up the hobby again. I have 5 hermit crabs which may go down to 4 soon. I had a lid that wasn't very safe and the kitty managed to get in the tank and dig up a molter and then proceeded to use the sand and substrate as her litter box...... The hermies are now in ISO. Molter has his/her own ISO and the other 4 are scurrying around like maniacs!
As I have ordered a new lid and waiting for it to arrive in the mail I have decided to re-decorate my tank..... which then lead to buying more hermie stuff which then lead to DIY projects which then lead me back to HCA!!! I have been a member of HCA for 3 years now but never formely introduced myself. Now that I am back I plan on being very active with the community and making new hermie friends. I am also looking to give a forever home to any hermies that are in need of being adopted.
I will be sexing my hermit crabs later and posting pictures of them. They all need names! So once pictures are up please send name suggestions!
