Hi all! I am getting 4-5 (?) Hermit crabs today from a friend who can't take them on their move. I am really excited to have them and want them to live their best hermit life. That being said is there such thing as getting your crabs too big of a tank? They are still pretty small but I found a really good deal on a 75 gallon tank. I just dont want to stress them out by moving them. Thanks so much!

There is no such thing as too big of a crabitat! Most people tend to start off small then upgrade and upgrade again. We always recommend going thing biggest your budget and living situation will allow!
Be sure to check out our care sheets for a lot of helpful information setting up your crabitat!

Yea, I feel like everyone always wants that next upgrade, haha...if you can go big from the get go, do it! Will be so much fun creating such a big crabitat, I’m sure your new crabbies will love it! Post pictures when you’re done

, love seeing other people’s tanks!
Oh, and welcome to the HCA!

A 75 gallon tank is awesome! That's sounds like a great home for the crabbies. Happy Crabbing!
