HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I really want to buy 2 crabs but i am afraid that they will make noise , i read on internet that they do make noise but on youtube no one metioned such thing . I want to keep them in a aquarium in my bedroom and i dont want them to make noise . If they do make noise , can u hear it easily or not ?

They’re a crepuscular animal so even without stridulation they’ll still make bumps and bangs at night.

I’ve kept mine in my bedroom since I was a child. You eventually get used to it but if you’re a light sleeper it’s probably not a good idea.
