I have two tanks with two hermits in each. In one, they have not moved around, eaten or drank anything in three days. In the second, the one crab changed shells and has since stopped all activity and is in the same spot. The other one changed shells over and over, guy back in his original shell last night and has not moved since. What's going on? I'm very worried and upset

Re: Crabs not moving
I see a lot of the more experienced people on here, talking about crabs, de-stressing for a few weeks after arival. Maybe that's what they are doing?
Re: Crabs not moving
Have you tried to cover the lids with some kind of plastic like saran wrap? They require high humidity to breathe. Also, do know what temperature their environment is? They do slow down at lower temps. They could also just be sleeping. They are nocturnal creatures.
I've read your other posts, and the best thing you can do as you improve conditions is to improvise to keep the tanks as warm and humid as possible. Misting with non chlorinated water is the best way to go for temporary humidity.
