Sitting on a house

Hello I was actually just kind of wondering if anybody else has had this happen or what kind of behavior this is but my little is crab we call her mama crab is always sitting on top of the place she lives at whether it be the big log I have in there at one time or the little cocohut would she first started out she always sits on top what does that indicate

It’s probably just her favorite place to sit and hangout. I have a few of my guys that like to go back to their certain spot to nap and hang out.

Mine hang out on top of the meter box, as soon as I hung it in there it became the spot to be.

Our largest likes to climb up on the massive log and just chill up there for hours. He seems to like being able to find a perch.

Yep, just a favorite perch. Some like to be higher up, some like to be on the ground, and some under it! They’re all so different, that’s what makes it so fun!
