I was looking at your signature, Krusty, and I am wondering if you had some losses over the few months past (while you were away from the HCA) because I could have sworn you had more mentioned in your sig...???
If so, my condolences.
If not, please disregard...

Yes Raen, he moulted again. Cant figure out why he doesnt change shells! He is so bizarre. At least he cant hide when I take his pic, because he cant!
Yes Joel, I did lose some hermies. As with almost every loss I have had with aussies, the small ones were eaten when moulting. Now its just my big guys remaining.

Oh, Krusty, I'm so sorry about your losses.

That must be so frustrating and heart breaking.

Thanks guys, it is always bad losing your hermies. I now will only have large ones, because they generally do not get eaten.
Zenalisa, my avatar is a Japanese spider crab. Huge and stunning creatures!

Yeah. I lost one of my first crabs because he'd been put in a painted shell while the paint on the inside was still damp, or maybe the heat of the store's tank somehow made the paint sticky, and he got stuck in his shell and couldn't come out. He only had the bottom segment of one walking leg sticking out that he could move a bit. When I realized he really couldn't come out, I tried to help by bathing him and rinsing out his shell, but in the end he didn't make it.
