Crabby party!

I looked into my crab cave at 12pm all 7 of my crabs were inside partying and playing games with each other️

Do your crabs do these too in hiding places?

My male strawberry considers anything, including other crabs, as a way to boost himself to the top of the cage. So he more or less mows over them. I am waiting for one of them to reach up and pinch him on the belly! As they should.

I think that as soon as my incandescent lights/heaters that are on in the day go of and we are not looking my hermit crabs ask each other; "Do you think she is gone?" "Yes." "Lets party, party, party." Then call each other from all across the ten gallon tank and all three of my hermit crabs start to party! PARTY!!!

But to answer you question, no most of the time with a few exceptions I don't see there party's, and i don't know even had any again with a few exceptions.

The party in my tank last night must have been a full on epic rave. I had a sinkhole about 6in across. A digging party! First thing I said this morning when I saw it was "ya jerks!" Lol

It would be so cool to set up a CrabCam and then get to watch the tapes in the daytime. Unfortunately setting up any sort of Camera on the computer sets you up for nasty sorts getting into your computer.

You could get motion activated camera that keeps the feed saved on the camera and not to the computer.
