Where we discuss the behavior of our hermit crabs, as in fights, pecking orders, shell swaps, etc. Please post all naked-crab posts in the Emergency forum.

Tomorrow I am going to get a temp and humidity reader. Owe and I fixed the lid to where it will hold in the humidity. So hopefully that helps! Thanks so much
Can you please let us know what kind of salt you use? It is important that your crabs get essential minerals from their saltwater source.
The rest of your updates sound great, and i hope the crabs can come out soon to enjoy them. It would be great to redefine your crabbing experience for the better!

That all sounds awesome! Personally I leave just some dried food and a calcium source out even when they're all under, just in case they sneak up in the middle of the night.

Keep asking questions if you have any more..sounds like you're on the right track, and like YYWW said if you can let us know what salt you're using someone can let you know if it's the correct kind or not :)
