HCA: Hermit Crab Association

So I have 5 crabs (3pp 2 E's) is a 55gal tat. About 2 months ago they had all dug down, I would still hear some digging around at night so I figured they were just being antisocial since they all recently molted. About a month and a half ago we had a power outage for 12+hours and it got cold (~40deg) and I stopped hearing them altogether. After a couple more weeks I stopped giving fresh food and water everyday as there were no signs they had managed to survive the power outage. I left the heat lamp and pad on though. Yesterday 3 of them came up and are acting like nothing happened. I'm hoping to see the other 2 soon, these little guys are amazing.

That's great news! Amazingly hardy and amazingly fragile -- you just never know which way it's going to go with these little guys. Good luck with the remaining two.
