Hermit crab stuck?

Post by Bookard » Thu Apr 07, 2016 12:49 am

Hey guys!

I made a post about this a few days ago, and you folks told me that my crab was probably destressing / molting.

However, now that I've put in some careful observation, I'm getting worried. Here are the facts:

-Been down for about 6-7 days
-I hear scratching on the glass every night
-He is active during nights only
-NO EVIDENCE of him surfacing during nights.

Please help!!

Here is a video of him crawling around, this is taken from the bottom of my tank under their water dish (hence the wetter spot) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GkNwXl ... e=youtu.be

They will tunnel around for a long time while destressing or before they molt. It really does sound and look completely normal.
