HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I have had my 3 little friends for 2 weeks and 1 out of the 3 immediately dug under. My other 2 are enjoying their new digs....no pun intended. My little one seems to start to dig then ends up in a different spot then goes back, it's almost as though he snuggles in to sleep, but that's it. My other guy I addressed in a different post. But, is it normal for them to not dig under right away?

Its not abnormal, they'll do their thing when they need to! The ones that dig right down probably went a while before being snatched out of the wild. The others probably arent as stressed or molted more recently. Each crab is different. In fact there are two crabs that i NEVER see! If i do its an astounding moment in my house hold. That being said it can take a couple weeks to a couple months. When you become worried is about the time they'll pop up!
