Sometimes my crabs will just sit there and randomly out of nowhere they’ll shake on and off. It kind of looks like them going in and out of their shell really fast. Has anyone seen this happen?

They shake to get sand or other junk out of their shells or to adjust their bums.

Lol yeah they do that a lot, it used to freak me out when I first saw it. So far I've witnessed mine doing it to clean out their shells, groom their back legs, shove stuff in their shells, and modify the inside of their shells.
