Crab does weird position

I have only seen my female hermit crab do this and i’m not sure why or if it means anything but yeah she’s the only crab of mine that i’ve seen do this. Basically will turn her shell upside down almost and twist her body out of it from what it looks like in my opinion.. does it mean anything or is she just being goofy?

Probably just being goofy.
It happens sometimes when a crab rolls over and then gets distracted. They’re weird that way.

If she isn't totally out of her shell she's prob fine. I've heard people say that it's their "poop-scooping" position, lol

Glad I found this post my crab Happy was doing they today. I thought he was going to ditch his shell. Then he just flipped the shell back up and carried on eating my wood piece in the tank.
