HCA: Hermit Crab Association

My temp in my crabitat is sort of lacking, as it’s between 75 and 77, but i’m doing my best to raise it right now. But i found one of my crabs leaning against the heat mat, and i’m worried that he’s going to burn himself. Here’s a picture:

It would have to be very hot to cause a problem for them. Have you tried touching that spot to see if it's uncomfortable?

I have touched it before and it’s sort of hot. I’ll check again tomorrow morning before i leave to soccer training.
