Stumbling on a molter

Post by crabbycasey » Sun Jan 31, 2021 6:08 pm

What are the odds that one of my recently molted crabs stumbles on one of my 3 others that are still molting? I ask because Turbo came up a couple weeks ago freshly molted, but he goes back under everyday still. I’m worried he will stumble on another molter and potentially attack/eat one of them. He’s down there a lot!

I have seven hermit crabs all who have molted during which other crabs uave burrowed and tunneled and never had an attack on a molter. As long as you have enough space in your tank and food and water your crabs should be okay.
