Safe fake plants?
Are the fake plants for aquariums safe for crabs?I want my tank to have lots of greenery but I don’t know if the fake plants are safe?If not,what types of fake plants are safe?

Yep, aquarium plants are safe - many such as myself use them. Another good idea is to use fake plants for floral arrangements, just avoid the ones thats been dyed - the dyes tend to leach - or covered in glitter.

If you are buying from a craft store, run your fingernail down a few leaves to see if any paint comes. While most are just colored plastic (any color plastic) some have been painted to give it more depth.

I haven't found any 'fake greenery' that doesn't fall apart after a bit. I hadn't thought of using plastic aquarium plants! Thanks!
