I’m thinking about starting a hermit crab rescue!

Hello again!
It’s been a while since I’ve last been on here!
But anyways you saw the title and it’s true I’ve seen so many abused and mistreated hermits that it’s sad and today I managed to rescue a hermit from petsmart poor thing was so miserable looking and tired and they had painted shells inside the cage so luckily I was able to buy him but he’s bigger than my other two hermits which is something I’m working with

Welcome back!
I'm glad you rescued that crab, but if you're trying to only rescue crabs from pet stores, it's probably not the best idea. Where would you put all those crabs?
And when you buy one from a pet store, it means that the store will eventually have to restock, which supports the industry even more.
But maybe that's not what you mean? Either way, it's a wonderful idea- but if you're "rescuing" from pet stores, it might just be further supporting the bad industry.
