I have a friend who has two purple pincher crabs, one fairly new to the tank. She has owned many crabs in the past but sadly they passed away. Her oldest current crab, Sheldon, has been acting strange lately almost like he is sick. He doesn't move much and just sits there halfway out of his shell. Yesterday he tried to put himself into a shell that was way to small and walked around for a while until changing back to his previous shell. She has plenty of larger shells in the tank for him to choose from but he doesn't use them. He also doesn't seem to be acknowledging the other purple pincher in the tank with him. Is he sick?

What type of tank is he in?? WHat is the temp and humidity like?
