Pump Spray Bottle safe?

Post by hermilove » Tue Mar 04, 2025 10:10 pm

I’m wondering if a pump sprayer like the HDX ones from Home Depot would be safe to use? https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-56oz-H ... /312367618

Unlike the small trigger one this doesn’t say it is BPA free. It also seem like it might be Vaseline as the lubricant in the pump (although I would imagine the water shouldn’t be getting in there)

Should I be concerned about these things or is it safe to mist the tanks with?

I have never considered BPAs, and would probably use it.

I agree these are nonissues. I recognize that BPA can be a hot topic but on the other hand alternative plasticizers aren’t necessarily better and we don’t even know if that matters when misting anyways

This bottle may not even have BPA, who knows
