I just suddenly remembered this and had to share it with you guys! I once found an incredibly strange bug crawling on the edge of the top of my aquarium, just out of the water. It was so odd! I had never seen anything like it (you get ALL KINDS of crazy things in aquarium usually microscopic tho)! It was a little beetle looking big with HUGE eyes. I was terrified because it would jump so I called my mother to come kill it for me. She was reading online about a year later and discovered that it was a dragon fly larvae that somehow made its way into my room! If I had known that then I would have left it to its fate: either to grow up and bless my bedroom with its creepy beauty or be readily eaten by my fish.kieagcarm wrote:mool wrote:You are in the wrong hobby if you dislike bugs that much... Crabitats are the perfect environment for bugs. I can't tell you how many different types of critters I've found in my tats.
Right now they are loaded with food mites--1000's of them. To get rid of the food mites, I had loaded the tanks down with 100's of rollie pollies.![]()
