So I had to put a molter in ISO, he's been in there for about two weeks. He had shed all of his exo by that point, but he still needed to eat the last few bits of it and dig down and harden his exo.
Now he's crawling all around the ISO, eating plenty of food and minerals, but I'm still a little afraid to put him back in the main tank. I know different crabs have wildly different molting experiences, but if his molt started three weeks ago is it safe to put him in the main tank again.
(My other crabs had nothing to do with him being put in the ISO, they'br got good protein levels because when he had been dug up by the mittens the other crabs showed no signs of aggression despite him being all soft)
reintroduction to the main tank?

Re: reintroduction to the main tank?
He sounds good to go! I would give him a quick freshwater dip just to make sure he smells neutral before putting him with the others, but if he's eating and moving around then he's done.
