Yes we have primarily whitetail deer in my area, but even the little ones can take a couple people to lift into the back of the truck! We also have a few elk(more 2 hours south), moose, and the odd caribou just to name a few lol

As for bigfoot.. The last reported sighting in my area was apparently only 300 metres from my house ;)

Deer SEASON is so DIFFERENT for me! It means mini vacation! No men in the house! Shopping for me, no cleaning up after anyone.. No cooking!

I don't hunt but my father, my uncle, some cousins, and my oldest son do. Thankfully they share! Just picked up a box of deer meat that my dad had butchered for us. And yep, I share with the crabs. They love it! :D

My dad has already gotten two deer this season! One for his freezer, one for my sister's. Unfortunately, I live in the wrong state now. I'm going home for a visit next weekend and I'm hoping I might be able to get a tube or two of venison to bring home with me, but we'll see. I was hinting heavily at him when we talked last night that I would like to try offering some deer bone to my crabs, but I don't know that he'll bother saving any for me. We'll see, I guess! I'd like to see what they think of it.
