HCA: Hermit Crab Association

hello all, just an update the 2 tanks together are running very smooth humidity and temp are very stable . lots of beautiful healthy molts going on. they use both tanks as if they where one back and forth many times a night. very fun to watch and here is a decent pic. milton in the front right tank is the size of a baseball ( for reference ) Hope everyone is having a wonderful new year!!!!!

Oh wow that tank is seriously fantastical! And Miss Scarlett whooo what a gorgeous straw!

Ooh! Quick question! Do you visually block off between the tanks? I have glass aquariums in my tat for pools and i feel like the crabs get confused due to the clear walls. I'm considering building mini tile walls to block them out, in order to encourage them in and out more efficiently. Have you made any observations along these lines?

Thank you @" I do have it so they can see through , and the cork on left is flat against they often sit and watch through to other side ... Then I look up and they are over already it is amazing how fast they are. I don't know bout others but mine diffinitly rest in the same spots . And 2 of the straws sleep against the glass together but on either sides , I always wonder . Then I look up and they're together in one tank . I have a separator in the bridge just slip plastic piece in and while I cleaned one they started lining up waiting on the other side of it patiently silly guys :)g

That is a really cool set up! I'm sure they love climbing over into another room lol.

Great idea to connect the two! Hilarious how they waited to get into the one you were cleaning! The grass is always greener on the other side.
