DIY crabitat

Has anyone turned old furniture like a dresser or old tv box into a crabitat? I like the idea but can't find any on line...I want a tall tank but don't want to spend the money on an actual tank and like how it would be a piece of furniture blending with my other furniture
if so I'd love to see!
and know how you did it!

I've never done it but am planning to for my lizard once I move into a bigger place. I don't have the links on my phone but if you Google diy chinese water drangon enclosure there are a lot of step by step guides. The heat and humidity is about the same that the crabs need so its a safe comparison.

Ooh, this is an interesting topic...my three small PP's reside in a 10 gallon long tank (it was about 25 dollars at Petsmart, I think) but I think this idea sounds cool because I want to get some sort of reptile and tanks can get pricey.

I believe a lot have tried converting old display cases into crabitats... Similar idea?
Either way, the best thing to do is make sure its *covered* in epoxy! But I'm sure a few of the water dragon enclosures have similar methods that can be converted the crabbing use. When you start this, we will love to have a step by step filled with pics! Anything DIY and crab related sounds amazing to me!
