How can I get this dang moisture under control? I did just change out their water yesterday....when I got home this evening I couldn't see in the tank for all the condensation on the glass. The hydrometer reads near 80%....never had this problem before. What do I do?

Sub is staying nice
Reckon this is why my guys have been staying down? I saw Jack up from his molt just 2 days ago, but not since. And Peanut has been down for about a week so I suspect possible molt for him.
But I don't want so much condensation bothering Jack if he wants to prowl.

Perhaps hydrometer is wrong? It's really hard to answer your question not knowing your humidity & heat sources. The heat is really what is going to cause the condensation on the glass. I personally don't use my light very long bc my tank is near a window. The only 24 hour heat I use is a UTH.

The colder it is outside of the the tank the more condensation I get on the glass. Hooray for fall! ...not lol

My UTH is off as it's still warm here (east TN). But we are having cooler nights as it's turning fall haha so I am considering plugging that in during the night.
My tank is near a window. So that's really my only heat source. Indoors we are keeping thermostat set at 75-80.
I do know I need to check my tank stat because of the moisture that's stuck inside the plastic.

That makes sense. The room I keep my hc's in is my "reptile" room. It is a warm room in our house.

The humidity should be at least 80% so it sounds fine.

Ok I'm glad of that.
Any solutions for excess moisture on the tank glass?

I get moisture on the inside of my tank too but it's only when my house is cooler. Add long as the temp and humidity are correct is the moisture okay?

I just wipe it off with a paper towel if it bugs me.
