Zoo med uth keeps shutting off

So I check the uth often thru the day by touching it, and have noticed it is cool half the time, warm the rest of the time. Is this normal

Mine on my main tank stays warm all the time. It may be an issue with the connection, or it may be a faulty pad. They aren't really the best of UTHs in general. Check to make sure all of your cords and plugs are working fine, and then see if it's the pad itself. If it's still under the return window then I would take it back if it continues to be faulty

Have to agree with DressageQueen. Ours stays warm the whole time. :/

I agree as well, I own two for my snakes, and they are always warm.

I switched the plug it was in and now it is staying warm
