Crabbie likes to shower??

My crab is done with his first molt (Go me! He lived!) and running around his cage like mad. Today I sprayed the sand for the first time with him not under it. I left him in the cage while I was spraying so he got sprayed with water too. At first he hid in his shell, but then he started to follow the bottle around standing where I was spraying. He didn't face the spray, just stay with his shell pointed to the spray or his side to it. Do crabs normally like to get sprayed down with water? Or is my crab odd for liking showers?
I try not to spray them directly, but will mist slightly above so it falls on them like rain when I'm giving them a 'shower'.
