I had a crab go down the second week of December. I had all but given up on him, but there was no oder coming from the tank, so I just continued to dilligent keep the heat and humidity up. Well, he came up two days ago and he is doing great!!!! I am so realived and and happy!

We had put my other crab in a ten gal iso when the first one went down, because he was sending out bad vibes like that he was going to ear him. Well, iso crab went down a few weeks ago, and he came up just a day before the other one.

Now they are together again, and they are climbing around and acting happy. They both have brilliant colors and the sharpest little legs!

I am so glad my little crabies are okay! It was a scary winter.

Has anyone else ever heard of a molt taking so long?

That's just about 2 months and yes, they can take that long. I had a small once stay down for 59 days. I have a large that has currently been down since 12/17 and I'm starting to wonder about her, but I saw her in a cave at the bottom of the tank just over a week ago and she was moving.
