Does anyone where to find these?

Post by robinwhiskers » Tue May 02, 2017 4:28 pm

You know those automatic feeding and water stations for dogs and cats? It's like there's a plastic jug on the top and a bowl below it?

Are there any of these that are super small that hermit crabs could climb in and out that i use for freshwater and saltwater and food especially for when we go on vacation for like 8 days in July and in November? It needs to be small obviously to fit in my 10 gallon tank and inexpensive. Thanks

I saw one that I think was either a Flukers or ZooMed at my local pet store, it is called Country Max, not sure it is a chain, I think they only have stores in CNY but I am not sure.

I look at this and this might be good for their water! What do you think?

It's ok. Rather shallow though... You could probs make your own with a bottle and some zip ties and a stand

The dog and cat ones do not have the mesh, so a crab could climb and get stuck in the bottles. The repti rock has a mesh protective screen.

If you make one, maybe use the plastic needlepoint mesh. You can place it inside the bottle to keep crabs out.

What would be everyone I'd need to make one?
