I stitched them together in a way that they would lay flat, then layered them on top of the weed block and eggcrate. I zip tied about every 1.5 inches around the edges (big crabs) and then 4 times at the stitch seams in the middle. It worked great. Just make sure to account for the zip ties sticking out when you measure to cut everything.
