Acurite Craft Mesh Holder

I saw Crabcityrockers post this on Instagram and thought it was a great idea. It's an easy way to get the Acurite gauge off of the substrate and help protect it and allows a few more options for locating it to an ideal location too.
A similar design can probably be used for cameras and other items as well.
Supplies needed:
1 sheet craft mesh
30 or so small zip ties
Scissors and/or xacto knife
Tape measure
Nail clippers for cutting zip ties
Also to be safe eye protection and gloves

Cut the craft mesh into these sizes:
4 pieces 3-1/2" X 1-5/8" (these will be for the top bottom and sides)
2 pieces 3-1/2" X 3-1/2" (these are the front and back)
2 + pieces 5/8 wide by whatever length (these are for hanging and will vary depending on your set up.
Take one of the 3-1/2 X 3-1/2" pieces and cut a 1/2" border on 3 sides. On the 4th side cut a 3/4" border. This will be the front so you can read the gauge. The 3/4" border is for the bottom of the gauge. This is where the xacto knife is handy.
All your pieces are cut and begin assembly.
I started by securing the bottom to the front.

Next were both sides to the front and bottom.

Next up was securing the back to the bottom and sides.

At this point it would be easiest to attach each of the pieces for hanging. I added mine after the next step so it can be done either way.

Now you can drop the Acurite in the pouch and add the top. Make sure it has batteries and is facing the right direction.

Now you have an Acurite you can hang off the substrate. I hung mine around the center support of my tank.
