How big are the pools? Did you use critter keepers?
I looks so amazing.

Thanks! No kk's. They're actually doubled Tupperware. Each holds 2.13 liters or 0.6 gallons. These were the biggest dishes I felt comfortable using and could find for my jumbos.... Kind of scared of KK's. Heard a lot of flooding stories.LadyJinglyJones wrote:OMG - daws, that is a masterpiece!

You mean leaving the bottom glass on, flipping it upside down, and using it as a topper? The conditions in the main tat should be about the same in the topper part... It's like heating/cooling a house. Most rooms feel the same when walking throughout.agentcrabby wrote:Look really cool
I was thinking...if i do the same but just flip over the topper, wouldn't that heck hold humidity in that section? Almost like a little sauna

Yes! Thanksdaws409 wrote:@Kermie16 I didn't have to add a UTH to my topper. Keep in mind this was set up recently so I have no clue what it'll do during the winter. My humidity hovers around 82 and my temp is 83 day and 78 night. I keep my house at 72 winter and 75 summer if that helps....
I have a 32 watt UTH along the back of the main tank that runs full blast day and night. And it's insulated with cardboard.
On beach side, I have a 24 watt UVB during the day and a 25 watt moon glo at night.
On the topper side during the day I have a 24 watt LED and a 40 watt day bulb to lessen the white effect. At night I run a 40 watt moon glo bulb.
Yes, these bulbs put off some heat but I can't tell you how much heat is going to the tank. However, my exotics need the UVB and at night I like to view them. The moon glo bulbs have a night light effect. The moon glo bulbs are also on a dimmer so they're not full powered.
Hope that helped!
