I moved and redecorated!

Post by piratetoothgir » Mon Jun 04, 2018 8:04 am

I had a large come up from a molt, which made me want to move the tank, and redecorate like I had been hoping!
Here's what it looks like now, not too different from the old design. I call this my summer update, next is a topper!

Looks great! I’m the same way my big guy always goes down for a molt around Christmas, comes back just in time for summer and for me to do some re-arranging.
Love the natural feel, beautiful tank!

Do you find that when they are walking on the outside of the wheel, they spin down and hit what it's next to? I keep mine from touching anything which is a feat to have something close enough for them to use to reach the wheel yet not too close.

Thanks! I appreciate the comments everyone! :)
Hermie, as for your question, my crabs do not walk on the outside of the wheel, they always go inside.
I am currently at 10.5 inches of substrate, only two more inches to go until I stop. When I get that topper, I will increase to fourteen inches.

Thanks! :)
Yes, I was lucky to capture that picture, they never stay still like that! I actually have made many changes since these photos were first up for viewing. I’ll have to upload a new photo once the lights are on :)
