I need to catch my other above ground and try to capture a picture of the Orange on his eye stalks.

Here's a picture of my larger E, Bullseye. I can't believe how beautiful he is after his 2nd molt. I love that his eyestalks are orange.

This is the first molt.

And this is what he looked like when I bought him.

I don't know how precious they are since one may be a cold blooded killer. My larger E is now 48 hours in the same place at the very bottom of the tank below the SW pool. He's moving around in there and tucks into his shell if a shadow is cast over him. I wonder if he's planning to molt again?!

Notice I say they're cute... from Florida. Image
I've seen a lot of posts about their less than stellar temperaments. I wonder if they just don't do well in tighter spaces?

He could be recovering from his prior molt? I read salt water is very soothing for them after a molt.

No idea. He's still down there. He might be sneaking out at night and returning during the day. He's not actually the one I suspect of being less than neighborly. My other E is definitely a male, the only one I've been able to sex. I'm working on an upgrade for them. I want a minimum 65gal.
