Not quite as dark as the picture makes him look, but almost. Actually, both of my crabs have darkened since we got them. They've grown, too. (Is it normal for hermits to grow visibly in less than 4 weeks?) I think they must have been missing something in their diet in that horrible store.ashleyandanimals wrote:They look great! Someone should post pics of their abandoned-shell collection! I'm thinking of making a terrarium using just things I'm sentimental about: plants from special friends, rocks from special places, and of course the abandoned hermit shells.ashleyandanimals wrote:I keep all of the crabs original shells on a bookcase.
